Major Responsibilities

1. Set up and sustain CEA’s ISO systems
a. Establish a quality framework based on ISO 9001 and ISO 17020, and company policy.
b. Baseline differences between CEA’s application of the above standards.
c. Develop and Execute a “fill in the gaps” plan.
d. Identify and engage a duly accredited certification agency to certify CEA according to the above
e. Work closely with the Agency to complete all certification requirements.
f. Work with others within CEA to accomplish this.
2. Develop and execute a plan that provides CEA with duly trained and certified social compliance system auditors, such as SA 8000 accreditation.
a. Evaluate the pros and cons of establishing CEA as a SA 8000 Certification Body.
b. Execute the approved Plan.
3. Maintain CEA’s quality system:
a. Develop and lead the internal and support external audits, follow corrective actions and implement preventive actions.
b. Conduct periodic audits to improve and optimize CEA’s internal systems.
c. Develop and improve the Standard work manual /procedure/ instruction and processes on the purpose of higher working efficiency and more effective internal quality control.
d. Continuously learn and improve his/her knowledge and receive training with the purpose of developing a deep expertise in management systems.
e. Build up an internal KPI system for quality, develop quality strategy and modify it according to market needs.
f. Collect and study all necessary management standards and transfer knowledge to relevant team members.
g. Monitor KPI system, continuously improve quality and implement changes according to company’s quality strategy.
h. Lead and supervise process building and lead weekly coordination meetings to improve system and processes.
i. Coordinate and assist internal team’s training, create training material (videos, documents), continuously communicate to internal team all important updates on training changes and distribute related training material.
j. Support management team to solve internal quality issues and lead internal 8D investigations.
4. Other Tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum.
2. A minimum of 6 years of working experience in quality system maintenance at a manufacturing industry or consultant sector.
3. At least one experience in independently establishing ISO 9001, or being part of a team developing ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000.
4. Very good to excellent written English and working level of spoken English required.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements

1. Registered at the National Register of China as an external auditor.
2. Certification as an external auditor for ISO 17020 or SA 8000 is preferred.
3. Must have experience in audits for ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) and in general other environmental or societal audit items, similar to the ones included in IFC’s (International Finance Corporation) E&S Performance Standard.
